What will you learn?
You learn to troubleshoot and maintain the technology a workplace runs on, from desktops and networks to websites and simple programs, and to explain technical problems to the people using them. Alongside the hands-on work you cover the parts of the job that trip new starters up: handling personal information carefully, understanding privacy and copyright rules, and working as part of a support team. It suits school leavers, career changers and people already doing informal IT work who want a recognised qualification behind them.
