What will you learn?
You'll study how libraries and information services are organised, how copyright and licensing rules apply to what they lend, copy and share, and how to track down reliable information and pass it on clearly. There's a practical side too, including sorting out the technology problems people run into at catalogue terminals and computers. A work placement is part of the course, and it's required if you want the qualification recognised by the Australian Library and Information Association.
