What will you learn?
You learn the business side of a practice: billing and accounting systems, budgets and financial plans, compliance with legal and ethical obligations, infection control and work health and safety, and how to manage staff and keep patients happy. Medical terminology is covered too, so you can read clinical records and talk to practitioners with confidence. Most of the study is done online or in a classroom, with no work placement required, which makes it practical if you are already working in a practice.
