- a practical head for budgets and day to day operations
What will you learn?
You learn how to lead a team and keep day to day operations running, set and stick to budgets, and handle the customer service standards that a tourism business lives on. There is also the less glamorous side: managing conflict, keeping customers and staff safe, protecting a business's reputation online, and building relationships with suppliers and partners. Most of the roles it leads to are departmental or small business manager positions, in places like travel agencies, tour operators, resorts, holiday parks and visitor information centres.
