What will you learn?
Students learn to work safely on a construction site, use routine tools and equipment, choose the right components and materials for a job, and solve simple circuit problems. There is also a unit on basic energy efficiency in homes, which looks at where power is wasted and what can be done about it. Most people treat it as a stepping stone into an electrical apprenticeship rather than as a qualification to work under on its own.
