What will you learn?
You learn the hands-on skills of a millinery workroom: blocking and shaping a crown, wiring and binding a brim, lining a hat and finishing it with trims such as ribbon, veiling and flowers. Much of the work is done by hand and by eye, so the course builds the patience and precision those techniques need. It suits people who want to make and sell their own pieces, work in a millinery business or supply costume, bridal and racing markets.
