What will you learn?
You learn to run small group and one to one activities, help with reading and maths, and adapt lessons for students with disability, autism or extra learning needs. Behaviour plans, child safety reporting and the legal and ethical duties that come with working in a school are part of it too. A supervised placement in an Australian classroom is required, and graduates commonly work with limited direct supervision and may guide other education support staff.
