What will you learn?
You learn the routines that keep a property running safely: checking for hazards, using sustainable practices with water, soil and waste, communicating with the people you work alongside, and following instructions for livestock, cropping or fencing tasks. Most of the work is routine and supervised, so it suits school students and people moving into agriculture for the first time. The skills carry across rural and regional employers, from mixed farming properties to saleyards and machinery work.
